Professor Nii Okai Aryeetey, Director, FANIS

Professor Richmond Nii Okai Aryeetey is a Professor of Public Health Nutrition at the University of Ghana School of Public Health with over 20 years of experience in maternal and child health and nutrition research.

He holds a BSc and MPH from the University of Ghana and a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from Iowa State University. His research interests span infant and young child feeding, community health, food systems, and health policy analysis.

Professor Aryeetey has led and collaborated on various projects, funded by organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the European Commission. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles and serves on multiple national committees, contributing to public health policy and nutrition security in Ghana.

His work also includes FAO, UNICEF, and GAIN program evaluations, demonstrating his expertise in evidence-informed decision-making and implementation research.

Ebenezer Yamoah, Administrator, FANIS

Ebenezer Yamoah is a dedicated nutritionist and food scientist with a BSc from the University of Ghana, bringing years of experience in teaching and research. His work is deeply rooted in enhancing public health through improved nutrition, with a strong focus on child nutrition, school feeding programs, and noncommunicable diseases. He has led impactful research initiatives, providing evidence-based recommendations for government programs to ensure nutritious meals for school-aged children.

Ebenezer's expertise extends to the field, where he has supervised large-scale data collection exercises that inform nutritional policies. He is also the founder of BrightMind Research Solutions, an online research company offering a wide range of services, from data analysis to grant writing. With a passion for community service, he has volunteered in underprivileged areas, helping to organize nutrition workshops, and served as a leader in various capacities.
